Last month, the ALGAESOL EU project marked its first anniversary! The consortium gathered at Leitat Technological Center and at Universitat de Girona to share the progress made during this exciting first year.

We reviewed key advancements in the development of bioelectrochemical cells and their integration with microalgae systems for sustainable biofuel production. During the meeting, we also had the opportunity to see prototypes of the bioelectrochemical cells, offering a tangible glimpse into the progress made so far. It was a valuable moment to align on the next steps of the project.

With renewed energy and two more years ahead, ALGAESOL is committed to pushing the boundaries of clean and affordable biofuel technology!
